Are you an experienced clinical leader ready to step into one of the most prestigious roles in private mental healthcare? We are seeking a Director of Clinical Services for a renowned acute mental health hospital in South West London, known for its excellence in patient care, therapeutic innovation, and clinical leadership.
This is a high-profile role within a specialist hospital setting, offering inpatient care for adults with complex mental health conditions including acute psychiatric illness, addictions, and eating disorders. The hospital also supports a range of outpatient and day care services and has established partnerships with the NHS, international clients, and private referrers.
As Director of Clinical Services, you will:
- Lead the strategic and operational delivery of clinical care across the hospital
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards and best practice in mental health care
- Oversee clinical governance, risk management, and service development
- Act as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, influencing organisational strategy
- Mentor, guide, and support a multidisciplinary team of over 200 clinical professionals
- Deputise for the Hospital Director in their absence
What We’re Looking For:
- A NMC, HCPC or Social Work England registration (e.g. RMN, OT, Psychologist, Social Worker)
- Significant experience in clinical leadership roles within mental health services
- In-depth understanding of acute inpatient care, mental health legislation, and safeguarding
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- A passion for delivering patient-centred, evidence-based care
