I am currently supporting a leading eCommerce client with a search for a contract Full Stack JavaScript Developer to support with the delivery of their innovative web applications.
The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role.
They are searching for someone with extensive experience using react, TypeScript and node.js. The team are also searching for someone who is comfortable using extreme programming engineering practices such as TDD, DDD, Red-Green refactoring and pair programming.
Key Competencies:
- Proficient experience in Full stack development – (Front and Back-end)
- React, TypeScript and Node.js experience.
- Exposure to AWS Cloud (Cloud knowledge)
- GraphQL experience
- Used to working in a scrum based agile team (Designers, business users, architects and back-end developers).
- Strong extreme programming skills – Pair programming, Test-Driven Development, Domain-Driven-Design & Red-Green refactoring.
- Understanding of the principles/practice of continuous delivery.
In terms of working structure, this role is hybrid with 2 days per week in their Central London office and the rest remote.
This is an initial 6-month contract which provides a daily rate of £540 (Outside IR35).
