Snowflake Developer β€” We\’re looking for a skilled and passionate Snowflake Developer to join our team in a permanent, full-time capacity. This is a hybrid role based in Manchester, requiring you to be in the office 3 days a week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain data solutions using Snowflake to build robust and scalable data pipelines and architectures.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and product owners; be a self-starter, a collaborator, and eager to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Mandatory Skills

  • Snowflake & ANSI-SQL: Deep understanding of Snowflake\’s architecture and internals, including roles, dynamic tables, streams, and tasks. Excellent SQL query skills.
  • Data Modeling: Extensive knowledge of Dimensional Data Model, ER Data Model, and Data Vault.
  • Cloud Computing: Foundational knowledge of cloud computing principles.
  • Data Expertise: Significant experience in data-related projects, with understanding of data management and data governance.
  • Programming & Tools: Python and GitLab.
  • Stakeholder Management: Experience in managing product owners and stakeholders.
  • Soft Skills: Team player with a positive attitude, proactive mindset, and willingness to continuously learn.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Database Knowledge: Experience with SQL Server or Oracle.
  • Financial Domain: Working knowledge of the investment banking and finance sector.
  • Analytics: Familiarity with Data Science, Machine Learning, and Statistics.
  • Reporting Tools: Knowledge of Power BI.
