Job Description

Salary –  National Apprenticeship Wage

Hours – Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week 

Holiday – 21 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays)

We have an exciting opportunity in our Norwich office to support an apprentice to study either AAT with a view to following a career in Accountancy or  or ATT offering a more specialist role in Tax. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual ready to start your career, working towards an internationally recognised qualification and gaining valuable on-the-job experience with a highly respected business advisory and accountancy firm.  

You will join a dynamic team and gain valuable experience working with a range of different businesses and clients whilst at the same time completing your qualification with us. 

Successful candidates for this role will be personable and hard-working.  As well taking your first steps in a great career, you will find your role with us to be enjoyable and fun – everyone within the team is warm, sociable and supportive – you will work with people that stay friends for your entire career.  

We provide you with meaningful support as you undertake your exam training and the exams themselves.  Whilst we want you to progress rapidly in your career, equally we want to support you to succeed and will only enter you for exams when you are properly prepared.

About you

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience

  • 4 GCSEs at grade 9-4 (A*-C), including English and Maths, or a Level 2 qualification (Merit or Distinction) in a related subject 
  • excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office with intermediate Excel skills as a minimum 
  • highly personable with excellent communication skills  
  • organised, efficient with attention to detail 
  • able to work as part of a team and ask for help  
  • motivated and enthusiastic   
  • able to demonstrate drive and initiative  
  • able to reliably commute to the office
