Accounts Assistant

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting bank reconciliations across GBP and USD accounts
• Managing trade customer receivables and handling credit control
• Handling day-to-day transactional finance processes, including accounts payable and some high-value invoices
• Getting involved in stock and inventory-related tasks
• Helping to streamline and improve finance processes as the team grows
• Collaborating across the finance function

What you will need:

• Previous experience in a similar role, such as Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant / Finance Officer / Ledger Clerk / Finance Administrator / Accounts Administrator
• To be studying or recently qualified AAT
• Experience in both accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Solid Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
• Great communication skills with a proactive, problem-solving attitude and willingness to learn
• Some exposure to stock or inventory finance would be a bonus (but not essential)
