Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for:

  • Taking the lead on implementing new finance software (iFinance)
  • Producing clear, accurate management accounts with a focus on peaks and troughs in cycles
  • Supporting department heads with annual budget setting, reporting and forecasting
  • Handling core month-end tasks, from journals and accruals to prepayments and reconciliations
  • Maintaining the fixed asset registers and supporting VAT returns
  • Acting as a finance partner to over 50 budget holders and assisting with year-end accounts

What you will need:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, such as Management Accountant / Senior Management Accountant / Commercial Accountant / Systems Accountant / Assistant Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner / Commercial Management Accountant
  • Proven experience with system implementation
  • To be part-qualified ACCA / CIMA / ACA or QBE
  • Excellent Excel skills and confidence with a range of finance systems
  • Confidence in communicating with budget holders and department leads
  • To be solution-focused and comfortable managing changing priorities
