Key Account Sales Manager in the South – Fitness Equipment Brand

This is a field-based role covering the South region

**Regular travel is required, and candidates must have a UK driving license and access to their own transport**

Our client offers a fantastic product with high success rates, popular among gym-goers and athletes. With a strong UK market presence, we now seek a passionate, results-driven Key Account Sales Manager to develop and manage client relationships, drive sales, and expand market share. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fitness, strong sales skills, and the ability to build lasting partnerships with gyms, health clubs, and fitness facilities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the fitness industry, including gyms, schools, and hospitality businesses—adopting a proactive, hunter mentality
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
• Become a product expert and be able to answer queries, explaining the benefits to prospective customers
• Collaborate with marketing and customer support teams to ensure seamless customer experiences
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market developments
• Meet and exceed sales targets/KPIs while maintaining high customer satisfaction

About the ideal candidate:

• 2-5 years of experience in B2B sales/business development; fitness industry experience is a plus but not essential
• Experience managing and growing key accounts
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Self-starter, proactive approach
• Ability to travel regularly (3-4 days a week); must have a full UK driver’s license and own transport
• Passion for fitness and knowledge of fitness equipment is advantageous
