Step into a pivotal leadership role at the forefront of transport logistics innovation. Our client—one of Saudi Arabia’s top-ranked employers and a multi-billion-dollar developer backed by the Saudi Sovereign Wealth Fund—is delivering one of the MENA region’s most ambitious hospitality and tourism projects. Spanning 28,000 square kilometres and encompassing 90 islands, the destination will ultimately feature more than 50 luxury hotels.

They are now seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Supply Chain – Transportation to lead the strategy, planning, and execution of transport and distribution operations across a geographically diverse portfolio of properties and facilities. This is a rare opportunity to shape the logistics backbone of a transformative giga-project while contributing to Saudi Arabia’s broader Vision 2030 goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal teams to forecast needs and align logistics with company-wide growth targets
• Conduct field audits, lead training programs, and promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement
• Create and implement robust SOPs, KPIs, and compliance protocols for seamless transport execution
• Drive innovation through market monitoring and integration of next-gen logistics solutions
• Lead the strategic development and execution of end-to-end transportation and distribution frameworks
• Oversee performance, utilization, safety, and efficiency metrics across all logistics operations
• Prepare actionable reports and insights across daily, weekly, and strategic planning cycles
• Spearhead fleet planning, appraisal, and 3PL vendor selection to meet evolving operational needs

What We\’re Looking For:

• 20+ years of transport and distribution experience, with at least 3–4 years at Director level
• A degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations
• Expertise in managing large-scale, multi-vendor fleet operations
• Proven track record in strategy execution, team leadership, and system integration
• Strong analytical, commercial, and stakeholder management skills

Position is offered with full family status benefits however the role is based at site during the working week with single status housing provided by the company.
