Caravel is partnered with a US credit fund to support their search for a credit-focused Investment Analyst.The fund specialises in financing and managing bridging and development loans. They are seeking an Analyst or Associate with 2+ years of real estate debt experience in the UK.It is important that you have advanced Excel financial modelling skills, a solid grasp of real estate fundamentals, and are a strong team player.Why consider this role?The fund is backed by one of the most prominent names in the industry, with substantial capital to lend to the UK real estate development market.This is a great opportunity for an Analyst or Associate who wants to focus on the underwriting and execution of loan deals rather than origination.You will be part of a smart, collegiate team. They work hard (sometimes long hours) but maintain a positive work culture and offer strong compensation.Required experienceExcellent financial modelling skills using MS Excel.Strong understanding of real estate debt/lending—ideally in development and bridging—gained from 2+ years\’ experience in a debt/credit fund, bank, or other real estate lending business.High attention to detail.Excellent team player.Other information£60,000–£70,000 basic salary + a realistic year 1 bonus of 30–40%.
