Location : hybrid working with regular regional travel to offices in Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire

Ormiston Families is a highly respected charity supporting children, young people, and families across the East of England. Its services help build resilience, strengthen relationships, and improve life chances for those facing complex challenges — from early years support and mental health services to prison-based family programmes.
The charity is now seeking a Chief Executive Officer who brings not only strategic expertise, but also the passion, presence and emotional intelligence to inspire. This is a rare opportunity to lead an organisation with deep community roots and growing regional influence — and to do so with purpose, ambition and authenticity.
The CEO will work closely with the Board of Trustees and a highly capable leadership team to deliver the mission and strategy, ensuring sound governance, financial strength, and high-quality services. You will be a visible and values-driven leader who energises teams, builds trust across diverse stakeholders, and speaks with conviction on behalf of the families the charity serves.
Experience in the charity, social enterprise or public sector would be highly beneficial, above all, candidates must bring strong financial acumen, entrepreneurial drive and the ability to navigate challenge with clarity, courage and compassion.
