Director (M&A, Strategy, Integration)

Phipps Cameron is pleased to be partnered with one of the leading PE-Backed Manufacturing firms – looking to expand their already stellar Corporate Development team.

The M&A Director will drive the search and assessment of established acquisition opportunities and select carve-outs. Execute strategic acquisition projects to expand the business in alignment with company strategy. Then be involved in the integration process following acquisition.

Candidates coming from an in-house M&A/ Corporate Development team are preferred

MUST HAVE

• In house Buy side experience (PE-Portfolio)
• 7+ years in Mergers and Acquisitions
• Due diligence experience
• Experience with deals in the manufacturing sector
• Experience in all three of Strategy, M&A, and Integration

PREFERRED

Background experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking, or Big4 TS team before move to in-house corporate development role

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough analytical searches to identify new acquisition targets.
• Build and maintain networks with companies to uncover and seize new opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional due diligence teams in evaluating potential product acquisitions.
• Develop and present financial evaluations and risk analyses for acquisition prospects.
• Coordinate with post-deal integration teams and serve as the primary contact for all product acquisitions.
• Support and occasionally lead divestment efforts of non-strategic assets.
• Manage deal execution for business development and licensing projects.
• Ensure all activities comply with relevant legislation and regulatory policies.
• Must have right to work in the UK
