Job Description Service Care Solutions has a new and exciting opportunity which has become available working as a Social Care Team Leader with Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council. Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council are currently looking for someone who is happy to work 36.25 hours per week. Key Responsibilities: Manage and supervise Support Workers to provide high-quality, consistent care. Allocate daily tasks and coordinate resources for efficient service delivery. Monitor staff performance, identify training needs, and conduct appraisals. Ensure safeguarding policies are adhered to and incidents are appropriately managed. Develop and update person-centered care plans in collaboration with service users and their representatives. Liaise with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring effective communication and smooth transitions for service users. Conduct service reviews and contribute to service quality monitoring. Promote a safe and healthy working environment for all staff and service users.About You: We are looking for a dynamic individual who is: Qualified: Holds a Level 3 qualification in care (or equivalent) and is willing to work toward Level 5 within two years. Experienced: At least two years of supervisory experience in a relevant care setting. Knowledgeable: Familiar with safeguarding, care planning, health and safety, and relevant social care legislation.
