e-trading Java Developer - Bonhill Partners

Bonhill Partners are looking to speak with e-trading Java Developers to join an exciting systematic trading hedge fund based in London.

Compensation: £250-350k

Location: London, Bank are – 5 days per week

Job Description:

As a Java Developer with e-trading experience, you will play a key role in the development, enhancement, and maintenance of  their low latency e-trading platform. You will collaborate with a talented team of developers, analysts, and traders to ensure our system meets the highest standards of performance, reliability, and scalability.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications for our  e-trading trading platform.
• Implement new features and enhancements to improve system functionality and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure project goals are met.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the platform.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2-5 years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong knowledge of core Java, multithreading, and concurrency.
• Experience with electronic trading systems.
• Familiarity with financial markets and trading concepts.
• Proficient in SQL and experience with relational databases
• Experience with Aeron is preferable.
