Cosmetic Repairers – £23,000 – 30,000 ote Plus Bonuses- Honiton, Tiverton, Okehampton, Cullompton Locations We are in search for "hard surface cosmetic repairers" Ideally with a Fine Finishing background i.e. Vehicle Repair and Paint Technicians, Factory Furniture Sprayers, Factory Metal Finishing Sprayers, candidates who can operate a spray gun, who are not colour-blind,with a fine eye for detail,a background in working as a cosmetic surface repairer in the building trade this could be a bonus. cosmetic repair service to the building trades, the good news is hat Training will be provided for the less experience with scope to move up the ladder within the Company. The client has mentioned if you do not have experience in fine Cosmetic Repairs to still to apply, however needs someone who is willing to learn as training will be given, must be someone with great fine eye for detail, for eg experienced Chef, very fine eye to detail Cleaners… the client would Consider. Where do we operate; our service stretches across Somerset, Devon and Cornwall and some of Dorset.  The clients customers: would be major national house builders, many regional house builders, small sole traders, plumbers, kitchen fitters, electricians, brick layers, local authorities, university's, schools, MOD, Care homes, Hospitals, Private Home Owners, Manufacturers of doors and windows, etc and more.  Desired locations for our next few staff; initially, Devon including preferred areas – Okehampton, Honiton, Cullompton, Tiverton.  Starting Salary: 23,000, increasing to 24,000 plus bonus after the first year for capable proven track record, then on to 27,000 plus bonus for higher achievers. For a capable person this job can pay £30,000 and more.  Hours of work: salary based role with additional bonus after first 12 months- on site for 830AM completing up to 8 hours or of work per day. in reality some days will be shorter some longer our techs are home from a days work from anywhere between 330 pm – 6 pm largely this will depend on the distance travelled to site, the amount of work to do when they get there, their abilities to complete quality work quickly. Every day you are in a different place, most of our bookings are either a day here and a day there, or two half days, one day your on a multi build project going from plot to plot, on another day your working in a multi-million pound grand designs project, or on a military site, sometimes indoors, sometimes outdoors, sometimes repairing a bath or a door or a window frame, or some brickwork or fancy stonework, sometimes on a new build, sometimes on a historical property. Some times a five minute drive to site, sometimes an hour and half drive.  Driving: distances vary from 5 minutes to up to approximately 1.5 hours to and from site location, this will vary considerably, van and fuel supplied and paid for by the company.  Uniform: supplied (apart from trousers which must be Black or Navy Blue NOT jeans). PPE: Supplied by the company.  Company van: (for business use only fitted with tracker) issued fully kitted with all materials and equipment after the first two weeks. Company Mobile phone: issues during the first two weeks training. Company credit card: issues during the first two weeks (for company fuel purchases only, all other purchases must be email authorised by a manager). Monthly bonus system: this will commence after 12 months service, subject to health performance. New customer sales bonus: this will commence with immediate effect. New site bonus: this will commence with immediate effect. Holiday: 21 days per year plus bank holiday. Pension: standard work place pension (government state pension with top up). Sick pay: unpaid – directors discretion. Colour blind: the candidate must not be colour blind, mixing of colours is a common requirement for this role. Working at height: the candidate will need to be comfortable working from a ladder, tower scaffold, fixed scaffold etc. CSCS Card holders: this can be arranged during training, there is a small fee to be paid by the candidate for their card and touch screen test. Basic Training · First two weeks classroom training, consists mostly practical in house training, also delivery of equipment and understanding of methods and materials. · Third week, 4 days with trained technician followed by one day on own. · Fourth week, 3 days with trained technician followed by two days on own. · Fifth week, 2 days with trained technician followed by three days on own. · Sixth week, 1 day with trained technician and four days on own.
