Our client, a marketing and lead generation firm preparing for FCA authorisation as a Limited Scope Firm with strong investor backing and ambitious plans, are building a governance and compliance infrastructure that supports both creativity and control. They are now looking for a Compliance & Marketing/Operations Project Manager who can take ownership of regulatory processes, bring structure to their project management and ensure that their marketing output meets the highest standards of compliance and ethical conduct.
- Lead the development and execution of the compliance framework in anticipation of FCA authorisation (procedures already documented by Compliance Consultants but need implementing).
- Ensure ongoing compliance with relevant FCA regulations (e.g. CONC, SYSC, PRIN, and SMCR).
- Maintain and update policies, procedures, and training related to regulatory requirements.
- Prepare the firm for attestation and reporting obligations to institutional investors and regulators.
- Collaborate with external compliance advisers, legal counsel, and auditors.
- Review and sign off all marketing communications, lead generation funnels, and digital content for compliance with FCA rules
- Ensure adherence to ASA, GDPR, and other regulations
- Work closely with creative and commercial teams to embed compliance into campaign workflows without stifling creativity.
- Implement a robust internal approval process for marketing and customer acquisition assets.
- Helping implement, run and scale marketing campaigns, quickly, efficiently, commercially, and within compliance rules set internally and externally, documenting processes throughout the business in a highly professional style, that can be reported to institutional investors
- Maintain documentation and governance structures that satisfy both FCA requirements and institutional investor expectations.
- Coordinate the execution and evidence of key control functions, attestations, and board-level compliance obligations.
- Maintain risk & control registers and monitor regulatory horizon scanning.
- Bring structure and process to campaign execution, onboarding workflows, and data governance.
- Act as a bridge between compliance and commercial teams — translating regulatory requirements into clear, actionable tasks.
- Help establish internal operational dashboards and reporting to monitor marketing, risk, and compliance performance.
You should have proven experience in compliance within a regulated environment with a strong working knowledge of FCA rules , particularly those relating to financial promotions and digital marketing, from exposure to a marketing based business or consumer facing marketing team, with an interest in learning more about marketing processes.
