Enterprise Applications Architect – Insurance/Broking

We are currently recruiting for a Enterprise Applications Architect with Strong Insurance / Broking experience to join one of our Global Insurance Clients on a 3-4 month contract.

Please note this role is Outside IR35 with 2-3 days travel to London weekly.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyse, and document the broking business processes, systems, requirements for strategic initiatives (e.g. broking platform replacement and consolidation projects).
  • Analyse and document key broking system capabilities and business processes across regions identifying opportunities to simplify and modernise the technology landscape.
  • Provide architecture input into key programmes and change initiatives including capturing as is and to be architecture views. Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles across broking systems and business functions.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Insurance / Broking domain experience (insurance broking and trading platforms, and/or IBA systems).
  • Architecting solutions with Microsoft Azure technologies, Sales force (including Force.com) technologies and modern data platforms (e.g. Data lake house architecture) and Business Intelligence (e.g. Microsoft Power BI) technologies
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture tools (experience in BizzDesign)
  • Good knowledge and awareness of enterprise-grade CRM, HR and Finance systems.
  • Knowledge of working in a regulated global environments
  • Working knowledge of Enterprise and Solution Architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF)
