Who are Opus Teach?

Opus Teach is an education recruitment agency, wholly owned by Suffolk County Council, supporting over 200 schools and education providers across Suffolk and surrounding areas, including Norfolk and Essex.

We are currently looking for Teaching Assistants (TAs) to work with our partnered schools on a temporary, part time, full time, and ad hoc basis.

We have also been seeing a heightened requirement for TA support requests for full terms and academic year requests.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Be responsible for supporting students in allocated classes, ensuring equality of opportunity for all.
  • Help support and be responsible and accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in pupils/students\’ work and conduct in lessons.
  • Work collaboratively and effectively with learners and other school staff.
  • Take responsibility for safeguarding the welfare of Children and Young People within the school.

As a Teaching Assistant, you do not require any specific qualifications, however, experience of working with children within an educational setting is advantageous.
We will work closely with you to find exactly what you want and to ensure you get the most out of your work. We pride ourselves on building great relationships with all our teachers, support team members and schools to make the most out of each work opportunity.
