This wonderful international development and aid charity is looking for a creative and experienced Senior Designer for a 12-month maternity cover.
From printed brochures and donor mailings to engaging video content and social media ads, you\’ll work across a wide variety of formats. I am looking for someone who can not only create beautiful design but also understand what drives people to act.
This is a hands-on role in a friendly, supportive team where creativity is valued and ideas are always
welcome.

Responsibilities:

  • Create strong visual content for print, digital and social media – including videos, gifs, banners.
  • Bring fresh ideas to brainstorming sessions, keeping the audience at the heart of every creative choice.
  • Manage your own projects and deadlines, keeping everything running smoothly.
  • Be a brand guardian, making sure everything they share feels consistent and true to who they are.
  • There will also be occasional work with external printers and suppliers to bring designs to life in print.

The appointed candidate will have:

  • Strong experience using Adobe Creative Suite – especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro.
  • Confidence with video editing and creating short-form content for platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
  • A solid understanding of layout, typography, colour and visual storytelling.
  • Knowledge of Figma (or open to picking it up quickly).
