Chichester College Group have an exciting opportunity for a Teaching and Learning Manager at our Chichester Campus. You will join us on a full time (37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, permenant basis and in return, we will offer a competitive salary of £42,913- £46,898 per annum.

Chichester College is looking for a Teaching and Learning Manager for our GCSE English and Maths department which includes ESOL.
Overseeing both Adult Learners returning to education and our 16-19 provision resitting their GCSEs, we are looking for a forward thinking dynamic manager who can oversee the quality of the teaching and learning of our staff.
Key Responsibilities of our Teaching and Learning Manager:
- Delivering outstanding teaching, learning and assessment and outstanding support for students.
- Contributing to all curriculum planning processes, including curriculum intent statements, timetabling and managing maths and English delivery across all product lines.
- Providing advice and support into new developments to broaden the curriculum offer including input from our community, employers and stakeholders.
- Undertaking activities to support the recruitment of students, including attend open events and other events as required by the Head of Learning.
- Contributing to the effective recruitment and retention of teaching, delivery and support staff, supporting the staff team with a coaching approach.
- Encouraging and supporting innovation, risk taking and use of technology to enhance curriculum delivery, engagement and learning.
- Positively promoting equality, diversity and inclusion within the curriculum and the College community.
- To integrate sustainability within curriculum delivery to support CCG s focus on the green agenda and sustainability.
Our ideal Lecturer in Teaching and Learning Manager should have the below skills and experience:
- A Certificate in Education or Post Graduate Certificate in Education, or equivalent
- A level 3 qualification relevant to the area of teaching expertise
- Up to date knowledge of curriculum and teaching and learning including GCSE system, proven through continuing professional development
- Proven record of teaching and assessment to a consistently high standard, including the use of technology
- Proven record of trialling new developments within own teaching & learning and assessment and supporting the development of others
- The ability to communicate to a diverse range of people at all levels, verbally, in writing and through online tools
- Innovative and creative in meeting the needs of students, customers and staff
