Retail Assistant – Job Summary We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, assist in maintaining store operations, and ensure a positive experience for all customers. Key Responsibilities * Customer Service: Greet customers, provide assistance with product selection, and address inquiries in a friendly and professional manner. * Sales: Assist in upselling, cross-selling, and achieving sales targets by recommending suitable products. * Merchandising: Maintain an organized and visually appealing store by restocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring product presentation standards. * Transactions: Operate the cash register, process payments, handle returns or exchanges, and issue receipts. * Stock Management: Receive, unpack, and label stock deliveries. Perform inventory checks and report discrepancies. * Store Maintenance: Keep the store clean, tidy, and safe by following health and safety guidelines. * Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. * Product Knowledge: Stay updated on product details, promotions, and store policies to provide accurate information to customers.
