We are looking for 2x Onsite Shift Coordinators for one of our key clients based in Leicester LE1. AM (5am-2pm) or PM (1pm-10pm) shifts available £12 per hr + 0.5 Bonus – Temp to Perm or Perm (depending on the candidate) Role and Responsibilities As a Shift Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations by managing shift-related tasks, staff communication, and site compliance. Your key responsibilities include: 1. Afternoon Check-ins: Perform check-ins with staff to confirm that all operational needs are met and actions for the next shift are planned. 2. Next Day Shift Messages: Review and dispatch priority updates and instructions for the upcoming shift. 3. Shift Bookings: Oversee and coordinate staffing for the next shift to maintain optimal coverage. 4. Fire Register Management: Ensure fire registers are accurately maintained to comply with safety standards. 5. Availability Tracking: Monitor staff availability to improve shift scheduling and coverage efficiency. 6. Extra Staffing Management: Handle requests for additional staff, coordinating resources to meet operational requirements. 7. Daily Site Visits: Conduct site visits to assess operations and address immediate concerns. 8. Afternoon Candidate Confirmations: Confirm and finalise candidates for the next shift, based on operational needs and assessments. 9. Regular Staff Scheduling: Manage consistent shift coverage by booking regular staff members. 10. Query Resolution: Resolve management queries and ensure follow-ups on unresolved matters. 11. FSL2 Monitoring: Track and ensure the completion of FSL2 tasks. 12. Support Inductions: Assist with onboarding new employees, ensuring a seamless induction experience. Requirements • Strong organisational and time-management skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. • Capability to handle multiple priorities under pressure. • Proficiency in scheduling and workforce management software. • Familiarity with safety protocols, particularly fire register management, is advantageous.
