Haywards Heath area. Plenty of free parking on site. Due to rural workplace location you will need to hold a full UK driving licence and have your own vehicle.

We are delighted to be working alongside our very established, professional and highly reputable client as they seek to recruit an additional HGV Technician to join their team on a full time permanent basis. This is a superb opportunity to work within an excellent employer who are able to offer a great working environment and long term security and stability.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Assist in all day-to-day operations in the workshop, ensuring repairs and maintenance works are carried out to the highest standards whilst meeting legislative requirements.
- Repair and maintain HGV's as directed either on or off site.
- Assist the safe, efficient, and effective operation of all vehicles.
- Undertake training to standards agreed by management.
- To comply with the company safety regulations, policies and safe working practices.
- Communicate effectively with staff and management daily.
Competencies, skills and experience required:
- The successful candidate should have excellent knowledge of Mechanical Engineering.
- You will have previous experience working as HGV mechanic or technician.
- Welding experience.
- Able to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
- Punctual, hard-working, with a 'can do’ attitude.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety policies.
- Report all accidents, incidents and near misses.
- You will also have a full, clean driving licence.
- NVQ Level 2 or NVQ level 3 in HGV and plant maintenance or equivalent.
