The business provides innovative hardware/ software technology solutions into a wide range of industries, with opportunities to further diversify into new sectors. We are helping the organisation to recruit a new Divisional Director for their largest division which is £40m turnover with aspirations to double in size.
Role Summary
Due to the business wanting to double in size over the new few years, we are helping them to recruit a highly commercial Divisional Director who can help them take the business forward.
Headquartered in the UK, the company is a £40m turnover business operating globally. The business has recently developed a brand new technology which huge growth potential on a global scale. The incoming Divisional Director will be an experienced and highly commercial leader, with a successful track record of enhancing profitability and growing technology businesses. Reporting into the Group CEO, this is a key appointment for their business.
Essential Experience
- A Degree qualified senior leader, with previous experience as a Managing Director, Commercial Director, Chief Commercial Officer, Sales Director or similar, with a positive reputation with clients.
- The successful candidate will have experience in a commercial leadership position of a comparable or larger sized engineering business >£30m
- Very strong commercial background and successful experience leading and transforming direct and indirect global sales teams.
- Demonstrable track record in leadership, within a multinational environment.
- Experience spanning Product Development including Hardware and Software, Innovation, R&D and GTM.
- Experience of technologies such as VR, AR, motion capture, spatial computing, computer vision, or a closely related technology which may include machine learning and/or AI/Generative AI.
- Desire to work in fast pace and evolving environments.
- Ability to travel to company offices and customers, globally.
