Cortica is looking for a part-time or full-time (30 hours per week) Counselor to join its growing multi-disciplinary team. In this role, you’ll provide counseling services to children, parents, siblings, and other caregivers while working as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team. The company pioneers effective treatment methods for children with neurodevelopmental differences, aiming to design and deliver life-changing care. Responsibilities include delivering direct client counseling services to families, couples, and children through telehealth, utilizing empirically supported therapeutic approaches such as Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, and Solution Focused Collaborative Therapy. The Counselor will collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and families, participate in family care meetings, and may take on additional responsibilities like clinical mentorship. Candidates should hold a master’s or doctorate degree in psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or related fields, possess a current unrestricted license to practice independently in the relevant state, and have at least 1 year of experience working with children or families with developmental differences. The role requires obtaining Mental Health Provider licensure in all states where Cortica operates within 60 days of hire.
