1st Line Support Engineer (Remote) – £32,500 per annum – Birmingham Principal IT are proud to be supporting an industry leading motor retail group, going through a period of substantial expansion and are looking for a 1st line support engineer to join their team working remotely in the Birmingham area. In this role you will play a vital part in supporting their future strategy. They are looking for someone who is passionate about continuous professional development and has an innovative approach to incorporating new technologies into their operations. As a First Line IT Support Engineer you will be an integral part of the IT Support team, working at all levels of the business, ensuring company IT systems remain online 24×7. The position is primarily remote but with occasional travel to sites in the area as needed by the business, for project work, ensuring the IT Support department delivers and meets its KPI and targets across our multiple franchise sites and remote workforce. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the initial point of contact for all IT-related inquiries, requests, and incidents, via our Support Desk Troubleshoot and resolve first-line technical issues involving software, hardware, network, and other IT systems.
