Graduate Quantity Surveyor

Location: Newcastle

Salary: 25,000 – 30,000

Our Client is offering an opportunity to support the company in managing project costs from inception through to completion. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience on a variety of Projects, work closely with experienced professionals, and progress your Career in Quantity Surveying

Main Duties:

  • Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets,
  • Monitor project expenditures and assist in cost control
  • Support the preparation and submission of interim valuations and final accounts
  • Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather data and assess work progress
  • Assist in managing variations and change orders
  • Prepare reports and maintain accurate project documentation

About you:

  • Degree Educated in Quantity Surveying or a related Construction discipline
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with cost management software is a plus
  • A team player with a proactive attitude and keen eye for detail
