We have an amazing opportunity here at nDreams for an aspiring Artist to join the team for a week this year. You will have the opportunity to work on real projects, with industry veterans, experts and newcomers alike to get a real oversight as to how our immersive VR games come to fruition.

What you will get up to:

  • Shadowing senior artists to observe workflows and learn best practices.
  • Assisting with asset clean-up, naming conventions, and file organisation.
  • Creating simple props or environment pieces for internal use or greybox levels.
  • Supporting texture and material creation using tools like Substance Painter or Photoshop.
  • Helping with asset integration and testing in the game engine.
  • Participating in team stand-ups and art reviews.
  • Learning about the full art pipeline from concept to implementation.
  • Contributing to mood boards or reference gathering for visual development.

What you will need:

  • A foundational understanding of art in game development, gained through study, projects, or self-led learning.
  • A genuine interest in the games industry and curiosity about how games are made.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges with a positive attitude.
  • Punctuality and reliability.
  • Respectful communication and professional behaviour in a studio environment.
  • The desire and willingness to upskill yourself and learn new skills
  • Basic computer literacy (e.g. navigating files, using email, typing).
