Buckingham Futures is recruiting for a Senior Environmental Health Officer/FoodSafety Practitioner to join our Local Authority client in East London.

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll support critical council services, enforcingfoodsafety and health standards across commercial premises, focusing on high-risk inspections and ensuring public protection. The role involves inspections, investigations, complaint handling, legal case prep, and courtroom appearances.

What we need from you:

  • BSc in Environmental Health (or similar)

  • EHRB Registered

  • Experience withfoodstandards enforcement, high-risk inspections, and legal procedures

  • Strong communicator with a solid grasp of regulatory processes

Details:

  • Location: East London

  • Rate: Negotiable – please confirm if your rate is PAYE or Umbrella

  • Contract: Full-time preferred, part-time considered
