We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Debt Recovery Supervisor on a permanent basis. The Debt Recovery Supervisor will oversee the collections process for our clients, supervise a team, monitor collection activities, implement effective strategies, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in collections and excellent leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of Debt Collectors, providing guidance, training, and performance reviews.
  • Monitor compliance and maintain quality standards, ensuring accurate and timely system updates.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize collections and achieve targets.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve complex issues and provide customer service.
  • Create transparent reporting packs and understand team’s bad debt provisions.
  • Manage own ledger and ensure process adherence with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Represent DACB CSG in client meetings.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in a high-volume environment.
  • Extensive experience in debt collection.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Understanding of financial systems and processes.
  • Preferably ICM Qualified or working towards qualification.
