As we continue our mission to make people happy through chocolate, we\’re looking for a Finance Analyst – Stock to join our Finance team on a full-time, permanent basis.
We\’re offering an exciting opportunity to join our Operational Finance team as we support our growing international footprint, particularly in the US. In this role, you\’ll take ownership of weekly stock reporting and provide key analysis to support business decision-making. You\’ll help improve insights into stock management, support month-end processes, and work closely with teams across the business to drive improvements in stock accuracy, café wastage and reporting efficiency.

Here at Hotel Chocolat, we\’ve adopted hybrid working. This means you\’ll join us on site for three days a week, and for the other two days – you can work from wherever you like!
What you\’ll be doing…
• Producing weekly stock reports and performing in-depth analysis
• Investigating variances in stock holding, write-offs, and BBE (Best Before End) risk
• Supporting monthly finance close including journal postings and reconciliations
• Assisting with internal and external stock audits
• Providing stock and wastage insight to store café teams
• Reviewing and enhancing current stock processes and reporting efficiency
• Creating and maintaining advanced Excel spreadsheets to support robust data analysis
