Vessel Operator (Bulk) – Permanent – SW London – Competitive salary DOE This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy operations department in a well-established shipping company based just South of London. Ideally looking for candidates with 1-2 years experience as an operator or similar. Although primarily in the Operations team, the company controls all Technical, Operational, Commercial & Crewing aspects of the vessels and this role will give you some exposure to all aspects of the business. The main function of the role is the day to day operation of dry cargo vessels working closely with chartering managers, colleagues, Masters, agents and brokers resulting in the performance of safe, profitable and efficient voyages. Experience Required: Sea going experience as a deck officer (Advantageous) Experience in a similar role ashore within an operations department Relevant University Degree (Preferred) Bulk Carrier experience is highly desirableYou must have the right to work in the UK and be located within commutable distance to the office.
