Are you a Project Engineer looking for a new challenge? Do you have a background in delivering a similar role in a regulated engineering environment? This Project Engineer position is based at our site in Portsmouth, sits within our bespoke engineering solutions business, where we develop life-support systems in critical workspace, oxygen and carbon capture based solutions, water purification, rugged electronics for harsh environments and precision engineering of high-integrity equipment. At CMS2, we specialise in the design and manufacture of atmospheric control systems for the defence industry and are part of Science Group Plc. The Role The Project Engineer will coordinate and facilitate key engineering activities on projects, working alongside Project Managers and the Project Engineering Manager to ensure the technical content of the project is delivered successfully to the customer\’s requirements. Working with the wider team some the key responsibilities and tasks will be: Create and maintain specifications, project BOMs and other documentation required to deliver the technical content of the project. Identify technical risks to the Project Manager and work on the appropriate strategies for risk management.
