Job Description: Job Description: We are looking for a Software Verification Engineer to join Airbus in Farnborough. You will report to the Verification Team Lead and be responsible for working in a verification team to implement DO-178C Verification and Validation activities for the Zephyr HAPS Airborne Software. Zephyr is an ultra-light weight, solar electric aircraft which is able to fly persistently, day and night in the stratosphere, for months at a time. The current single tail variant (Zephyr S) completed its successful maiden flight during Engineering Flight Trials (EFT) in Arizona USA in July and August 2018, achieving an endurance of 25 days, 23 hours and 57 minutes. It continues to pursue and break world records. The successful candidate will be responsible for working in a team reviewing, verifying item high and low level requirements to ensure DO-178C compliance, participate in creating verification strategies, plans and procedures including test equipment and environments for the Zephyr Airborne Software. Additionally, perform software analysis, requirements based testing and structural coverage analysis. There will be a particular technical emphasis on the airborne software.
