As a Head Chef, you’ll inspire your team to go the extra mile for our guests, keeping expectations and standards high. You will be continuously coaching and developing your team to be the best they can be while driving performance and delivering excellent results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize cultivating a positive and inclusive work culture through emotional intelligence, inspiration, and effective delegation. Your ability to influence and empower emerging leaders will shine through as you provide excellent training, coaching, and mentorship.
- Ensure excellence in guest experience by preparing dishes to exceptional standards and equipping your team with the necessary skills and mindset.
- Maintain high standards for food safety, health, and safety, understanding the financial performance of the kitchen, including gross profit, stock control, and labor costs, and proactively spotting opportunities.
- Build and nurture your team from recruitment to ongoing development, fostering personal and professional growth among team members.
- Create an inclusive environment where your team feels respected and that they belong, enabling them to flourish in their roles and careers.
- Be a forward-thinking problem solver, able to think on your feet and make quick decisions.
