Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Fabricator located in Southminster. The Fabricator will be responsible for reading and understanding engineering drawings, sketches, or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating, assembling, and installing metal products. The role involves operating fabricating machines, such as, brakes, presses, forming rolls, and saws to cut, bend, block, and form or straighten materials. The Fabricator will also assemble, align, and fit parts according to specifications, ensuring quality and accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and product specifications
  • Experience in operating fabricating machines such as shears, brakes, presses, forming rolls, and routers
  • Skills in assembling, aligning, and fitting parts according to specifications
  • Knowledge of materials used in fabrication and their properties
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and independently
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise
  • Prior experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment is a plus
