The role is focused on leading our Organic and Creator Marketing team and integrating our Organic Social & Creator Marketing together with Paid Social to ensure a holistic Total Social approach across our team. One key focus of this role is to lead and innovate in the Organic Social space alongside developing and innovating the Creator marketing product.

Job Description Summary:
The Head of Organic, Creators & Commerce (OCC) will lead the strategic vision and execution of our organic social media, creator partnerships, and social commerce initiatives, working to integrate and ‘power up’ our Paid Social offering to ensure a holistic Total Social approach across our clients. You will showcase how Organic, Social Commerce, and Creators are interconnected with Paid Social and how performance is driven by holistic, Total Social Campaigns.
In this role, you will coordinate proposals, lead product development, testing, and innovation, and spearhead new business conversations with both existing and potential clients. You will be the go-to person for our go-to-market brands (iProspect, Carat, and DentsuX), ensuring that our strategies align with client needs and market trends.
Based in our Manchester office, you will be required to be in the office one day per week, with regular travel to our London Head office at least once a month.
You will work with a team of eight Organic Social, Creator & Commerce experts, driving insight, innovation, and development. Your leadership will be crucial in growing our Total Social proposition—specifically in Creator Generated Creative, Organic Social, Social Commerce, and Creators. Overseeing the output from these specialist teams, you will ensure our clients receive the best possible outcomes from their campaigns.
This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth through innovative and data-driven social media strategies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social media platforms, with strong experience in Paid Social, Organic Social, and Creator Marketing. You will have a proven track record of leading successful campaigns and building strong relationships with creators and partners.
You will develop compelling product narratives and products that super-charge Paid Social.Additionally, you will lobby our Total Social Partners to drive growth and help cross-sell into our 160+ Paid Social clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Growth & New Business Leadership: Lead client growth projects and sales material creation for the OCC team. Support pitches for new business and identify opportunities for growth from existing Paid Social clients.

Strategic Proposition Leadership: Collaborate with the Managing Partner to ensure our GTM strategy for the OCC team evolves in line with industry trends and our Total Social proposition. Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies that align with our client\’s overall marketing and business objectives. Showcase a deep understanding of overarching and tactical strategies to lead and facilitate innovative work and push boundaries for our clients.

Team & P&L Management: Lead and mentor a team of social media experts,empowering junior staff to make decisions. Oversee capacity planning, income tracking, and resource allocation to optimise profitability. Maintain strong commercial hygiene and proactively manage growth targets.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Paid Social Partners and ADs to ensure cohesive messaging and alignment. Build relationships with client leads and planners in our go-to-market brands (iProspect, Carat, and DentsuX) to help identify client growth opportunities.

Client Relationships: Build and nurture relationships with key clients, acting as a strategic consultant and escalation point for high-value accounts. Serve as the escalation point for all client activities within the OCC.

Industry Trends and Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep the company at the forefront of the industry and continuously innovate our approach.
Requirements:

Proven leadership experience in social media strategy, team management, and operational excellence.

Strong understanding of Total Social models, with experience including Organic, Social Commerce, Paid, and Creator-led strategies.

Demonstrated ability to drive commercial success, optimise profitability, and build strong client relationships to drive client retention.

Strong presentation skills and ability to lead new business pitches, alongside a proven record of driving organic client growth
