Our client are a longstanding and highly reputable company who specialise in a range of equipment for the Pharmaceutical and Scientific industries. Working collaboratively with their customers, they create tailored solutions to suit individual requirements and deliver a high quality client service. They are now looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to join their friendly and supportive team.
Responsibilities will include conducting calibrations, scheduling and conducting site service work, routine maintenance of test equipment, conducting validation of test equipment as well as validation of test methods. Implementation of the Quality System as per QMS training, filing of non-conformance reports. You will look after customer communication relating to all aspects of calibration work, as well as participation in customer/UKAS annual audits, preparation and feedback for lab meetings and management review for key topics. You will be required to complete IQ/OQ documentation/protocols/calibration certificates and provide technical support via phone and email. The role will be site based in Chorley when not visiting client sites across the whole of the UK.
To be considered for the role you will have experience within a field service engineering role within the Pharmaceutical or Scientific industries. You will also hold a degree in an Engineering discipline or similar relevant qualification. Experience in refrigeration, F-GAS and HVAC would be a big bonus. Furthermore, you should be self-motivated, proficient in IT, and possess strong attention to detail and communication skills. You should also be able to work well as part of a team as well as autonomously and have the ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally. A driver’s licence and own transport will also be required, as will a valid passport.
