As a Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering innovative, sustainable water and wastewater solutions that make a tangible difference to communities across the UK and Ireland. Working as part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team, you will contribute to long-term infrastructure frameworks for major utility providers. From the outset, you will be involved in hands-on engineering design, client engagement, and site-based activities that bring projects to life.

About You

My client is seeking a motivated and adaptable individual who brings both technical expertise and a passion for infrastructure development. The ideal candidate will have:

A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline

Experience in water and/or wastewater infrastructure or non-infrastructure projects

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A proactive, solution-focused mindset with a desire to learn

Familiarity with design software and hydraulic modelling tools (desirable)

Your Role

The successful candidate will support the delivery of energy-efficient, low whole-life-cost projects across all stages of the project lifecycle. Key responsibilities include:

Designing water and wastewater treatment works, pumping stations, and pipework layouts

Producing feasibility studies, outline and detailed designs

Conducting hydraulic analysis and preparing technical specifications

Supporting project management and contract administration

Ensuring CDM compliance through design risk assessments and management plans
