Job Description
Carpenter / Fire Door Engineer
Looking for an experienced Carpenter to mostly service and maintain fire doors that have been found to be non-compliant with new regulations.
Ideally, we are looking for someone who has knowledge of Fire Doors although training can be offered to an experienced Carpenter.
This is a full-time permanent role with expensed co. van, tools, uniform, materials all provided, expenses credit card, pension, paid holiday etc.
The work is mostly across the East London area, most jobs will be around the E London and North London area, with occasional days in Peterborough and South of the river London.
The end client is a large social housing association with 1000's of properties mostly blocks of flats.The Employer holds BM Trada Fire Door Certification and is a specialist in Fire Life Safety Systems.
Service calls are mostly 1 with some 2 man jobs, depending on nature of issues, you will mostly be working on your own doing remedials on existing doors.
Standard hours Mon β Friday 08:00 β 16:30 with 30 min lunch, overtime is available if desired.
Salary depending on experience from Β£36 β Β£40000 + Van, paid holidays, pension, and business use company van.

- hold a full manual UK driversβ licence (max 6 points)
- have a clear DBS (criminal records check)
- Live within a reasonable drive of E London (first 45 mins of travel is in your own time).
