Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Full-Time)
Birkenhead, Wirral
Salary: £98 – £105 per day (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)
Start date: 2nd June 2025 – July 2025
The School and Role
Vision for Education are working with a thriving and welcoming, Ofsted rated Good , primary school located in the Birkenhead area, Wirral, who are committed to providing high-quality education and a nurturing environment for their students. They are seeking a passionate and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team, to start after the May half term, covering small group intervention sessions across Key Stages 1 and 2 on a full-time basis, starting immediately. There will also be ad hoc PPA sessions to cover across the week, to be confirmed on a week by week basis.
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in the school, delivering high-quality lessons and supporting the pupils\’ learning and development. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with the HLTA qualification or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain invaluable experience across both KS1 and KS2.
Requirements
The desired HLTA will have;
– Experience of working with primary school aged children
– Have a minimum HLTA qualification or equivelant
– Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
