Permanent – Full Time – 40 Hours
We are currently recruiting an Assistant Site Manager to assist the site management team in delivering a stream of works within a £40m, 4-year partnership based in Nottingham, working on social housing refurbishment contracts. You will support the team and help monitor the health and safety standards of work to ensure compliance and quality. You will liaise with the client to gather necessary information, such as drawings and specifications, to determine the method and plan of work on site. As a confident communicator, you will monitor sub-contractors and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
You will ensure that service levels are met professionally and support the Site Manager in planning, managing, and controlling daily operations on site with the goal of completing work on time and within budget. With a good understanding of health and safety, you will ensure compliance with policies and procedures among internal and external stakeholders.
With good knowledge of the building/construction industry, you will have experience supervising operatives and meeting deadlines while staying within budget. You will have knowledge of refurbishment projects, be able to interpret drawings and specifications, and have demonstrable experience with Temporary Works and Site Administration. A good understanding of health and safety in the construction industry is essential.
