Join us as our new Responsive Repairs Manager – Make a real difference in Oldham and the surrounding areas! First Choice Homes Oldham (FCHO) have an exciting opportunity for a proactive leader with a passion for delivering high-quality housing services to join our dynamic Property Care team to lead and manage the delivery of a high-quality Responsive Repairs service which ensures compliance with relevant Health & Safety legislation through effective management of general repairs. You will spend your time leading the Responsive Repairs Service, ensuring best working practices are followed, and that repairs and maintenance jobs are carried out efficiently, enhancing the quality of living for our customers. Our ideal candidate: Has a full UK driving licence Has a HNC in Building or equivalent level of qualification Holds a Level 4 Housing management qualification (or willingness to work towards) Has proven experience in managing and leading multi-disciplinary repairs teams to deliver high quality repairs services, ideally in the social housing sector Has an excellent understanding of building maintenance, health and safety standards, and regulatory requirements in social housing Is able to manager multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a focus on quality and customer satisfaction Has strong budget management skills with a focus on cost control and value for money Has excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers, contractors, and colleagues across the organisation Has a knowledge of housing management software and systems Takes a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement Understands the importance of equality, diversity and inclusion and demonstrates this by treating colleagues and customers fairly and equitably Who are we?
