We are seeking an experienced Distribution Account Manager / Channel Account Manager to manage key distribution partnerships on behalf of one of the world s leading providers of Wi-Fi and smart home devices.

Role Overview: Distribution Account Manager / Channel Account Manager
As an experienced professional in distribution account management, you will be responsible for leveraging established relationships with distributors to identify and develop new VAR (Value Added Reseller) and SMB opportunities. You will work closely with both new and existing partners, driving growth through strategic business planning, proactive customer engagement, and innovative initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify B2B sales opportunities within the Security System Integrator and Installer sectors, focusing on SMB and Enterprise networking and surveillance product lines.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Manage distribution stock levels to ensure optimal customer availability across the full networking and security product portfolio.
  • Coordinate and support sales floor activities with internal teams and customers; attend distribution sales events and meetings as required.
  • Conduct competitive analysis within the surveillance sector and effectively communicate differentiated solutions to partners and customers.

Candidate Requirements:
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with proven experience managing key IT distribution partners such as TD Synnex, Ingram Micro, Exertis, and others.

  • Prior experience selling or working with CCTV and surveillance products is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong business relationships and effectively negotiate commercial agreements.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational and planning capabilities, with the ability to manage a varied workload and frequent customer site visits.
  • A commercially astute mindset with a solid understanding of the competitive landscape.
