The Vacancy
- Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Building Services Manager to join their team. This role will support the delivery of Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) packages across key projects in the UK.
- You will be involved in coordinating with subcontractors, monitoring installation progress, supporting design reviews, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met throughout.
- You’ll need to be a clear communicator, highly organised, and confident working in a team-based construction environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
- Support the Senior BSM in the management and coordination of M&E subcontractors to ensure timely, on budget, and high-quality project delivery.
- Assist with reviewing and interpreting subcontractor proposals and design documentation.
- Monitor progress of M&E works on site and help resolve day-to-day technical and coordination issues.
- Help manage site logistics related to building services installations.
- Support the review of design information for buildability, compliance, and safety considerations.
- Ensure that all works are carried out in line with relevant health and safety guidelines.
- Liaise with project and design teams to ensure services requirements are understood and integrated into construction activities.
- Attend coordination and progress meetings, producing updates or reports as required by the Senior BSM.
