I’m delighted to be exclusively partnering with a high growth, fast paced underwriting business who are looking for a bright and ambitious Manager to join their Delegated Authority team. You’ll be joining a global player with an excellent reputation for underwriting innovation and operational excellence.
This is a broad, technical, and collaborative role providing oversight across underwriting operations, including binders, consortia, master policies and third-party lineslips. You’ll play a key role in the end-to-end DA lifecycle, working closely with underwriters, outsourced service providers, and stakeholders across the UK and internationally.
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversight of third-party binder frameworks across multiple specialty classes of business
- Managing relationships with external service providers and ensuring data accuracy
- Technical account management across binders, lineslips and consortia; including EPI reviews and profit commission support
- Supporting internal and external audit queries
- Driving quality assurance and continuous improvement across delegated operations
- Identifying process efficiencies and contributing to strategic global projects
What you’ll need:
- Experience and knowledge various forms of delegation; including lineslips, binders, consortia etc.
- A strong grasp of Lloyd’s and/or Company market processes and regulations around delegated business.
- Proven experience managing offshore/third party providers and ensuring delivery to agreed SLAs/KPIs
- Confident working cross-functionally and internationally, coupled with strong communication and problem-solving skills
- A technical mindset with Excel skills and a sharp eye for detail
