What will I be doing as a Key Account Manager?
- Explore and develop new business opportunities
- Manage and maintain excellent relationships with existing key account portfolio – primarily located in the North West region
- Support customers on a day to day basis, working with other teams to ensure first class service is provided
- Promote the Carrier Way
- Drive sales performance to meet SIC targets
To be successful in this role you will:
- Proven experience developing and managing key accounts
- Technical background within transport refrigeration would be a bonus
- Ability to engage with senior executives and create demand for new solutions.
- Proven experience and ability to develop and execute consultative sales strategies that drive value growth for customers.
- Proven ability to influence and work effectively across all levels of the organisation.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to manage multiple priorities and ambiguity.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal across a wide audience. This includes the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical teams.
- Willingness to travel and stay out overnight
- Strong negotiation skills: ability to understand contractual, legal language
- Strong skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
