Key Responsibilities of Mathematics Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons that support and challenge students of all abilities.
- Teach across a range of Key Stages in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing targeted interventions where necessary.
- Maintain high standards of classroom management and student behaviour.
- Work collaboratively with the Maths department and contribute to wider school initiatives.
- Foster a passion for numeracy and problem-solving among pupils.
Teacher of Maths Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in the UK is essential.
- A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject.
- Experience in working as a Maths Teacher across UK schools.
- A genuine commitment to raising academic standards and promoting a love for Maths.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- ECTs welcome and encouraged to apply – full support and induction provided.
