This is a fantastic opportunity for a compliance professional with legal experience to join a dynamic, forward-thinking environment where integrity, accountability, and innovation are at the heart of everything.
In this key position, you’ll play an instrumental role in maintaining and enhancing the firm’s robust compliance framework. You\’ll support the Compliance Team and senior stakeholders in ensuring the business meets legal and regulatory standards – making a real impact from day one.
The Role
As a Risk & Compliance Executive, you will:
- Be the go-to advisor for colleagues seeking guidance on compliance matters.
- Act as a key contact for data protection and AML queries, ensuring compliance with the DPA 2018 and AML 2017 regulations.
- Support and help deliver tailored training on data protection and anti-money laundering to new starters and existing staff.
- Maintain and regularly review compliance policies and procedures, ensuring timely updates and effective rollout.
- Manage and respond to data subject requests (e.g., Subject Access, Right to Erasure/Rectification).
- Assist in investigating data breaches and preparing detailed reports, including liaison with the ICO when necessary.
- Monitor new and emerging regulatory requirements, and proactively implement changes to remain ahead of the curve.
- Contribute to compliance aspects of internal projects (e.g., IT developments) to ensure risks are managed effectively.
- Support a culture of compliance through engaging communication and awareness initiatives.
- Record, analyse, and report on compliance failures to help drive continuous improvement.
