Are you passionate about helping others achieve their goals and thrive in meaningful employment? We\’re looking for a dedicated\” IPS Employment Specialist \”to support individuals with mental health needs on their journey into sustainable, fulfilling work on the Isle of Wight.
What You\’ll Do
As an IPS Employment Specialist, you\’ll:
- Empower clients \”with mental health support needs to find and maintain paid employment that aligns with their goals and preferences.
- Deliver the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model \”- full training provided.
- Build strong relationships \”with employers, health professionals, and service providers to create inclusive employment opportunities.
- Work collaboratively \”within a multidisciplinary team (Community Mental Health, Early Intervention in Psychosis, or IAPT) to support holistic recovery through employment.
You\’ll support clients through every stage of their employment journey-from initial referral and vocational profiling to job searching, employer engagement, and securing paid work. Once in employment, you\’ll provide tailored in-work support, gradually stepping back as clients gain confidence and independence.
