Production Planner. OX9, Thame, Oxfordshire. £40,000

• Production Planner, Materials Planner, Production Scheduler, MRP Coordinator or similar.

• Excellent opportunity to work within a growing SME manufacturing business who supply into a number of highly regulated industries, bespoke project work internationally – so there is a wide range of materials and a strong emphasis on supply chain management.

• Working closely with the production & manufacturing teams, ensuring high levels accuracy.

• Strong emphasis on MRP / ERP system.

• Role will be based on site near Thame in Oxfordshire.

• Excellent starting salary (£40,000 as a very rough estimate) + wider company benefits.

This Production Planner job will suit:

• A Production Planner, Production coordinator, Material Planner, Material Scheduler, MRP coordinator or a professional with a background in Supply chain. Ideally exposure of working within an SME manufacturing business.

• The role will be essential in improving the company’s current production planning process. They have a new MRP system and established processes currently in place, they just need a dedicated professional who can take the lead in this area and champion it moving forward.

• Someone with exposure of using and working with MRP / ERP systems.

• Analytical and excellent attention to detail – stock analysis, material analysis and manipulating data into Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.

• Excellent communication and team working skills – you will be the link between a number of different departments within the business (production, sales, supply chain), so the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with multiple stakeholders will be crucial.

• Ambitious, proactive and willingness to progress – the business constantly strives for continuous improvement and seek to reward their employees with further progression & development.There will be headroom in the role to advance your career.

• Able to commute to a facility near Thame.
